This Minnesota maternity session in the snow was so much fun. To be honest, I haven’t scheduled anything indoors in ages! With Dilly being medically sensitive, I’ve been sticking to photo sessions outdoors. We planned this shoot for outdoors but when Wisconsin Winter was RAGING and the temps were -30, I panicked!

I booked @pinewood.mn as an indoor space that was private enough for us to feel comfortable with an indoor shoot, but still STUNNING.
I’m so glad we did! It was the perfect spot!

(Also, how beautiful is this Momma to be! I can hardly handle it!) I appreciated that the weather was warm enough for us to take some photos outdoors. And I LOVED that we could take our time and shoot indoors without worrying about the cold!

The staff at Pinewood was welcoming and kind. I love Minnesota and it was fun to get out and take the beautiful drive over for this shoot. I don’t shoot family or maternity sessions indoors often, but Pinewood has me longing for more!

And oh my goodness, the light outdoors there! I could have stayed all day long! (But let’s be honest- there was still snow on the ground and it was cold. So who wants to shoot here in the summer when we can stay all day long and not freeze?!)
