Sample photo albums are here!

During every regular photo shoot, I try to get enough variety for the family to make a family photo album if they choose. I’ve printed high end, professional albums for clients in the past but I’ve never invested in a sample set to show people!

They are finally here! (With one more on the way- I just have to pick a cover! That may be the hardest part for me!)

These albums come from a printing company that sells to professionals only, and they are so beautiful in real life. Their photo paper and cover materials are gorgeous. If you’re curious about adding a professional photo album to your photo session and want to see the album samples in real life, let me know! I’ll send you a link to some info and bring a couple sample albums along to your session.

If professional albums are outside of your photo budget, Artifact Uprising also does a nice job on albums, and you don’t have to be a professional photographer to order through them. 🙂

No matter what route you go- it’s a great idea to print your photos! Digital files may go corrupt and hard drives may fail. High quality printed photos/albums should last you a lifetime.

Also (and most importantly) print your photos and have them where your kids can see them. I truly believe we are affirmed by the things we surround ourselves with. Your child will walk by a print of the family having fun. Will page through an album and see a photo of Mom giving them a hug or telling them a story. Whenever they pass by photos of your family smiling together it sends them a message, “You are part of something. You are important. We are there for each other. You are loved.” And when the memory of the moments fade, they will look back at those photos and be reminded. They are loved.
